This Dam is built on the Northern borders of Jordan between Syria and Jordan on Yarmouk River. It can hold up to 115,000,000 m3. In a country that is poor of water resources, this dam plays a vital role providing Jordan with water for both human consumption and agriculture as well as providing locals an incredible landscape especially during spring season.

It is a place where families go to spend their time surrounded by a beautiful landscape, enjoying the very quiet area, having a barbeque and drink mint tea and Arabic coffee on flames. A great place to spend a day out and enjoy nature peacefully.
