Ain in Arabic means a water spring, this is one of the most important water springs in Bani knanah district, its distinguished for its continuous cold fresh water that flow around the year which made it a key stone in many civilizations that flourished in this area for centuries.
in this valley you can find a part of the Roman water tunnel, established it in the 1st century A.D by romans, it is the longest water tunnel in the world, part of this tunnel extends from Ain Trab to um Qays with a length of 22 km and was used to supply Gadara (Um Qays) of water
It is due to water in from this water spring you can see hundreds of pomegranate trees and seasonal crops like tomatoes and cucumber which provides the area with magnificent green view around the year and a steady income for local framers.
